The Life Cube Project is an interactive art installation based on the idea that writing something down makes it more likely to happen. It encourages the community to contribute inspirational writings, paintings, and murals.

Who We Are

First showcased at Burning Man in 2011, the Life Cube has since engaged hundreds of thousands of people who have added their personal visions. In 2014, it expanded to major U.S. cities, bringing its message of creativity and shared expression to a wider audience.

Burning Man History

The Life Cube debuted at Burning Man in 2011, starting with an eight-foot version and expanding over the years. By 2013, it featured a multi-level design with murals, writable surfaces, and interactive elements.

In 2020, the project went virtual for the first time as part of Burning Man’s online experience, offering a space for goal-setting, video chats, and over 30 events, including yoga and performances.
